Develops & implements an annual field support plan to align operational support & logistics activities & determine priorities. Contributes to the development of budgets. Monitors & reports on the achievement of technical & logistical milestones.
Manages the deployment of staff, contractors, equipment & other resources.
Oversees trainings & induction processes for staff & contractors within the district ensures understands & commitment to comply with company standards, procedures & regulatory requirements.
Ensures there is proper maintenance of equipment uses internal & external resources. Oversees the storage & inventory of equipment & identifies & actions opportunities to reduce equipment & storage costs & lengthen equipment lifespan & utility.
Contributes to the development & maintenance of a District Operational Support Project Manual, & associated guidelines & procedures.
Works with geoscientists & field staff to resolve technical & operational challenges related to logistics & operations system implementation.
Develops networks of operational support & logistics external providers to share best practice & promote alignment of activities with company requirements, priorities & directions.
Establishes contracts with external providers of operational support & logistics services, sets & monitors service level agreements & undertakes related reporting."
