We are hiring a Specialist Construction SMP

Duties and responsibilities:

• Supervision of SMP construction works performed by the EPCM contractor to ensure delivery complies with the schedule, cost and quality requirements.
• Ensure that Contractors perform work safely, in accordance with the safety plan rules and regulations and project procedures. 
• Participate in construction risk assessments processes to ensure that planned work is executed safely and in accordance with site procedures. 
• Preparing and supporting the execution of project plans including coordination of work permits, materials, equipment, tools and labor. 
• Provide input and liaise with project stakeholders to ensure adequate planning for all construction activities is in place, and reporting deviations to plan.
• Liaises with the EPCM to support field engineering queries, issues and changes requested by Contractors.
• Reviews project related documentation for adequacy and completeness, and initiates appropriate corrective actions. 
• In field design and construction verification to confirm compliance with standards and specifications, and reporting of deficiencies. 
• Liaises with the project QA/QC teams to ensure that all Government and Authorities requirements are satisfied. 
• Identifies changes in engineering and construction methodology that significantly improves execution outcomes. 
• Prepares daily and weekly reports covering status of activities, progress/performance and emerging issues. 
• Assist in development of the workforces technical skills through in the field coaching and training programs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or trade Certification 
• Mechanical Engineering or trade Experience
• At least 3 relevant experience, or otherwise the significant practical experience and on the job training 

Contract term: 6 month
