Supervision of SMP construction works performed by the EPCM contractor to ensure delivery complies with the schedule, cost and quality requirements.
Ensure that Contractors perform work safely, in accordance with the safety plan rules and regulations and project procedures.
Participate in construction risk assessments processes to ensure that planned work is executed safely and in accordance with site procedures.
Preparing and supporting the execution of project plans including coordination of work permits, materials, equipment, tools and labor.
Provide input and liaise with project stakeholders to ensure adequate planning for all construction activities is in place, and reporting deviations to plan.
Liaises with the EPCM to support field engineering queries, issues and changes requested by Contractors.
Reviews project related documentation for adequacy and completeness, and initiates appropriate corrective actions.
In field design and construction verification to confirm compliance with standards and specifications, and reporting of deficiencies.
Liaises with the project QA/QC teams to ensure that all Government and Authorities requirements are satisfied.
Identifies changes in engineering and construction methodology that significantly improves execution outcomes.
Prepares daily and weekly reports covering status of activities, progress/performance and emerging issues.
Assist in development of the workforces technical skills through in the field coaching and training programs.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree or trade Certification
Mechanical Engineering or trade Experience
At least 3 relevant experience, or otherwise the significant practical experience and on the job training
