Develops maintenance schedules to enable efficient & effective execution to optimise cost and resource efficiency, tasks include:
Develop draft/first cut maintenance schedule (critical path, task interactions, labour requirements, materials, shared equipment, and tooling) for review. This is +3 ot 4 weeks ahead and includes:
Review work identified as ready-for-schedule.
Prepare for the required meetings to support work mgmt. process with relevant stakeholders.
Review and allocate internal and external labour, and equipment based on available capacity.
Review material availabilities and status
Review planned equipment outages and production schedule for the period
Confirm and lock in hired and shared equipment required for scheduled period
Confirm material and update delivery location and trigger expediting of parts where required with parts coordinator for all execution areas to ensure parts expediting process is executed
Confirm any schedule loss events are aligned to the planned events, and update key stakeholders and business systems on any exceptions - and provide draft schedule to production to make them understand schedule loss
Finalise executable work schedule and lock in (1 week ahead), which includes.
Publish maintenance schedule and work packs, including work orders, permits, job instructions etc
Review resource utilisation and schedule loading are within targets
Liaise with execution leaders to confirm upcoming resource availability, and lock in resources including shared equipment
Identify critical issues – approvals, resources, accommodation etc. Work with stakeholders to resolve
Re-schedule uncompleted task / operation (include following rescheduling of core processes) from current maintenance week (due to no identified planning issues)
SCHEDULE / ANALYSE WORK
Support quality execution of current schedule whilst identifying opportunities to analyse and improve future schedules, including:
Review all completed work against responsible assets and compare planned vs actual. Collect and collate work management data for review and identification of improvement actions
Attend all required meetings during the execution period to provide feedback on conformance to the approved schedule and participate in post execution review meetings
Provide guidance on decisions against schedule work with relevant teams / stakeholders
Assist in identifying and capturing potential items to include in the plan & schedule compliance improvement plan
Identify issues during daily meetings, to inform improvements to short term and long-term planning (e.g.., raised POs)
Deliver (and distribute) responsible actions per post review sessions
Monitor action conformance for scope of works conducted and provide feedback to key stakeholders
Closeout any raised contractor requirements including invoicing and payments in consultation with the execution team
Provide input to LTP & STP in alignment with monthly/ quarterly budget planning & reforecasting process
Requirements:
Undergraduate or equivalent or higher education obtained through degrees or diplomas from academic college or universities.
Science, Engineering, Health, Safety, Environment, or relevant discipline.
At least 3 years relevant experience, or otherwise the significant practical experience and on the job training.
