The Construction Specialist is responsible for leading construction execution across all phases and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure alignment.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Leading the construction execution of projects from pre-construction, mobilization, to handover.
Developing construction execution plans, schedules, and work packages in coordination with the project team and contractors.
Acting as the primary on-site representative for the project team, managing day-to-day construction activities.
Supervising and guiding contractors, subcontractors, and the internal construction team to ensure safe and efficient delivery of work.
Ensuring all construction activities are executed in compliance with health, safety, environmental (HSE), and quality standards.
Reviewing and interpreting design documents and specifications to ensure work is executed correctly.
Monitoring site progress and ensuring alignment with the approved construction schedule and budget.
Identifying and resolving construction-related risks, issues, and delays in a timely manner.
Coordinating QAQC activities (planning, inspections, testing), and commissioning in collaboration with quality assurance (QA) and engineering teams.
Facilitating daily, weekly, and monthly site meetings and reporting construction progress to project leadership.
Managing site logistics, materials delivery, and construction resource planning.
Supporting procurement activities by reviewing construction-related technical requirements, scopes of work, and bid evaluations.
Ensuring accurate documentation of site activities, changes, delays, and completed work for project records and closeout.
Collaborating with engineering, HSE, quality, procurement, and project controls teams for integrated project delivery.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Mechanical & Piping, Construction Management, or related field.
Solid knowledge of construction methodologies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Strong understanding of project drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in construction management tools.
Ability to work in remote site environments and under pressure to meet project milestones.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction execution, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
Proven experience in leading multi-disciplinary construction teams on complex projects.
Requires medium level of English proficiency.
Ability to work in achieving tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment
