We are hiring an Officer Shipping Administrative





Duties and responsibilities:                                                                                                

  • Liaison with Sales & Marketing, Inbound and Border Logistics teams regarding product logistics 
  •  To ensure all shipping documents (convoy & vehicle manifests) are produced accurately and provided to the Customs brokerage team in a timely manner
  • Monitor the product loading via WMS and ensure that the correct products are assigned to the correct customer
  • Be responsible for WMS Data entry for all transport equipment and operators information where and as that is required
  • Ensure that all employee information is accurately entered into LMS 
  • Assist the contractor’s team to schedule and book all mandatory training via LMS where and as it is required
  • Support the contractor’s teams to resolve minor issues with their use of the Life Hub System and escalate any issues that may arise to ensure they are controlling the operator’s fatigue. 
  • Produce operations weekly and monthly reports for management in a format as agreed by all parties that are involved
  • Review all raw data associated with the operator’s fatigue alerts and cap-offs, to develop reports and conduct basic analysis 
  • Liaison with the Fuel Team to collect all raw data associated with the Company fleet fuel consumption and develop a monthly report in an attempt to control fuel usage versus the approved target
  • Verify and confirm the product weights, contractor’s service charges, contractor’s equipment and manpower time sheet records
  • Maintain all shipping records files and filing systems
  • Create any purchase requisitions, work orders and sales entry sheets within SAP where and as they are required
  • To provide cover and back up for the Freight Coordinator when that is required.
  • Prioritizing copper concentrate export freight, for customs and the related border crossing processes
  • Work within a freight terminal environment dealing with all aspects of export administration 
  • Act safely and promote a safe culture at all times while undertaking your duties, to ensure that all work is carried out; consistently with the company’s safety policies and standards in mind"                                                                                                         

 

REQUIREMENTS:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  

  • Secondary or equivalent education obtained through degrees, certificates or diplomas from academic or vocational high school trainings.                                                     
  • Logistics or relevant discipline.      
  • Relevant experience typically achieved through vocational trainings and equivalent practical experience or on-the-job training.                                                             
  • To be very proficient with Excel or MS Office Software and to demonstrate the ability to be highly organized and focused.
