Provides assistance in developing and implementing the Procurement objectives.
Ensures sound supply chain/ procurement processes are followed, project implementation methodologies are deployed, and implementation is completed in accordance with RTP’s process, documentation and governance requirements.
Conducts all procurement activities that are sourcing, purchasing, and expediting of goods and services and ensures quality and accuracy in executing the activities and related administrative works.
Accountable to support Mine operations by collaborating with internal customers, determining priorities and business requirements and deliver them within deadline.
Conducts business meetings with end users regularly to discuss present issues, determine solutions, identify future requirement and demand as well as review improvement opportunities
Works towards achieving best product quality and price by evaluating supplier conducts and following appropriate evaluation criteria
Coordinates with end users in developing scope of work for projects assigned.
Takes initiatives to find solutions to problems and challenges.
Updates purchasing related data and pricing info in the system as per the procedure
Prepares function relevant reports and data from the system
Supports local and foreign suppliers in complying with the company’s minimum standard of purchasing, delivery, and invoicing requirement
Assists in managing and following up on orders coming from overseas.
Requirement
Undergraduate or equivalent or higher education obtained through degrees or diplomas from academic college or universities.
Supply Chain Management or Procurement or relevant discipline.
At least 3 years relevant experience, or otherwise the significant practical experience and on the job training.
