Responsible for running the Lamp Rooms in an efficient, reliable and safe manner aligned with cage schedules, and UG mine operations other activities.
Responsible for keeping the log of “UG Mandatory Personal Protective Equipment’s”, and safety devices - CO gas tester, Ventilation dragger, Loader light orange & blue, Gaz tester X-am5600 and Airstream Helmet on the system.
Responsible for collecting and distributing up to 160 other types of PPE items issued from the “UG Lamp Room”.
Responsible for monitoring reliable operations of the PPE control systems, and reporting the malfunctions to the responsible teams such as cap lamp PLI’s to the IS&T team and broken Savox to MRT team...etc.
Responsible for attaching new chip immediately if Mandatory PPE chip is found lost or damaged and re-registered to the system without delay.
Responsible for regular checks of mandatory PPE for expiry dates, and physical damages for replacement and tags.
Responsible for Mandatory PPE scheduled inspections and their maintenance (underground wide)
Responsible for keeping the record of employees failed to return the mandatory PPE and took relevant actions to return them.
Responsible for immediately printing and issuing the latest version of UG Refuge Chamber Location map to ensure employees’ safety in case of an emergency.
Responsible refilling PPE vending machines between man runs to reduce workload of Lamp Room Coordinator, crowd at PPE issue counter during rush hours.
Responsible for collecting all UG Ops teams' PPE while collecting Lamp Room PPEs from Warehouse and complete required recoding in the system.
Responsible for bringing PPE orders from the central warehouse to Shaft 1 and Company office on a daily basis and registering them in the system
Responsible for assisting in maintaining accurate and orderly records of miners' closets/lockers for each location, checking and recording every change in a timely manner
Responsible for providing necessary support to UG visits and Family Open day events.
Perform other tasks assigned by the Supervisor."
REQUIREMENTS:
Undergraduate or equivalent or higher education obtained through degrees or diplomas from academic college or universities.
A discipline relevant to the performing function.
At least 3 years relevant experience, or otherwise significant practical experience and on the job training.
