• Collaborate with management to understand the organization's goals and long term strategy. Develop an approach to procurement that allows those goals to be met.
• Assure that all departments in the company and at the mine site have the equipment, supplies and spare parts that they need to achieve their production targets every month.
• Assure that all equipment, supplies and spare parts are acquired at a competitive price and on favorable financial terms.
• Assure that all equipment, supplies and spare parts are delivered in a timely fashion, according to plan, in a manner that allows all orders are closed.
• Manage and supervise day-to-day operations of the department;
• Develop policies and procedures related to procurement area;
• Ensure that the company’s purchasing and procurement activities meet the highest international standard and comply with all anti-bribery and anti-graft legislation, including Mongolian legislation;
• Other tasks assigned by senior management
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANT:
• Bachelor or higher degree in financial management, economics, business administration or another relevant field;
• 5 or more years of experience working in procurement, purchasing and logistics;
• Strong leadership and organizational skills;
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Attention to detail;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Strong English language skills are an important plus.
