We are hiring a Controller Document





Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicates effectively with the project team, suppliers, & stakeholders.
  • Processes Engineering and Contracts & Procurement documentation & other departments-controlled documents.
  • Quality checks project documents in compliance with project requirements.
  • Administers the DM&C System & produces document management reports as directed.
  • Processes transmittal of information between Contractors & CLIENT.
  • Records Project documentation in the DM&C system as per project requirements.
  • Complies with project DC processes & procedures to ensure accurate records of all Project documentation generated by the project or its vendors.
  • Works with other Project Document Controllers in different satellite offices to ensure consistency of training, process, & enforcement of DC procedures.
  • Accurately & constantly maintains the metadata of project documents, such as, but not limited to; document number, title, revision, status, etc. in accordance to Project Numbering Procedures.
  • Expedites & tracks the status of all documents reviewed internally by the Project as well as documents for Client approval.
  • Check if the template used is the current revision.
  • Seeks assistance in completing assigned tasks to ensure accuracy & completeness in compliance with Project procedures/processes as needed.
  • Manages document libraries and manages content types & permissions for a document library.
  • Assists project team members as appropriate.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      

           Requirements:

  • Undergraduate or equivalent or higher education obtained through degrees or diplomas from academic colleges or universities.
  • Bachelor’s degree graduate preferred or significant document control experience. Must have proficiency in English as it is the primary communication used in the project. 
  • Developed software skills and previous experience with document handling.  MS Office skills and experience with Excel and Word.  Leadership skills and develop communication skills with a good attitude to interface with the project team external vendors and other stakeholders.                
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large amounts of data/documentation.
  • Planning and prioritizing work with others.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and work to meet deadlines under pressure. 
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • Process/procedure, System oriented
