Duties and Responsibilities:
• Take full accountability for procurement and contract administration of assigned packages across study and execution phases, mananaging concurrent packages simultaneously.
• Review project documents to protect the commercial position.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure procurement process milestones are met.
• Prepare and manage RFP documentation, oversee market release, commercial evaluation, and recommendation for award.
• Draft robust contracts including special conditions, ensuring all negotiated terms are accurately reflected.
• Administer all contract management duties including progress claims, invoicing, variations, time and cost claims, and commercial risks identification.
• Lead negotiations with contractors and external organisations in alignment with project objectives and governance requirements.
• Maintain contract management systems accurately and ensure all activites comply with project governance frameworks and delegated financial authorities.
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders throughout the procurement lifecycle, escalating issues with a solutions-focused approach.
• Attend priority contractor progress meetings for key contracts, as required, to understand progress, provide commercial advice, and identify and address risks early.
• Provide team coverage during leave and support the development of junior team members through coaching and knowledge transfer.
