The main responsibilities of the Tailings- Engineer (Project control) is to assist in all TSF seepage related projects:
Developing and tracking schedule and cost modelling TSF seepage projects.
Inform and presenting project status to department leaders and stakeholders. Collaborates in establishing and managing cost control systems for accurate financial information.
Participates in developing the work breakdown structure (WBS) by coordinating with Planning, Procurement, Engineering, and Finance Departments.
Analyzes project management and cost control system data independently, using graphs and diagrams for insightful cost status presentations.
Implements and maintains Project Planning and Scheduling.
Applies engineering, procurement, and construction concepts to create and manage simplified critical path logic networks and bar charts.
Evaluates project status against baseline schedules and assess the impact of changes or delays in design or construction.
Communicates schedule status to project management, Company executives, and Clients.
Develop and gain approval of Project Change Notices for all project changes that impact project baseline schedule and cost.
Supporting review and documentation process during engineering study, design development.
Check, liaise and confirm with Finance Team on all project financial reporting.
Organizing project construction documentation submittal for company, state archive.
Investigate construction activity documenting for construction activity report preparation.
Supporting and delivering construction commissioning and project related permitting services.
Requirements:
Undergraduate or equivalent or higher education obtained through degrees or diplomas from academic college or universities.
Civil, hydrotechnical engineering degree or relevant discipline.
Experience typically achieved through graduate qualifications and at least 5 to 10 years relevant experience.
