Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules across all phases, including study, engineering, construction, and commissioning.
Review daily, weekly, and monthly construction plans, assess actual performance against schedule, and recommend corrective actions for any deviations.
Participate in schedule review meetings and coordinate updates with relevant stakeholders.
Support the integrity and integration of project schedules across disciplines, contractors, and project phases.
Prepare and deliver accurate schedule reports, including progress analysis, schedule forecasts, and earned value (EV) metrics.
Create and maintain progress tracking tools such as commodity curves and manpower histograms.
Liaise with site construction teams, engineering, and procurement to ensure the schedule reflects real-time execution requirements
Collaborate with cost engineering and estimating teams to evaluate the impact of scope changes on the schedule.
Ensure compliance with standardized planning processes, tools, and systems
Maintain accurate planning documentation, including resource plans, change logs, labor data, and schedule risk assessments.
Coordinate with contractors and planning-related stakeholders to ensure consistent communication and alignment.
Identify schedule risks, inefficiencies, or resource constraints, and contribute to mitigation planning.
Work closely with Project Managers and Project Leads in developing baseline schedules, defining planning deliverables, and implementing performance monitoring strategies.
Acting as a backup for the Project Cost Controller by taking on non-cost management responsibilities as needed or during the Cost Controller’s roster break.
Requirements:
Proven experience in study and execution planning & scheduling, with strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Skilled in developing user-friendly documents and templates using MS Office, including writing complex Macros, VBA, and Add-ins.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and perform accurate Material Take Off (MTO).
Understanding of procurement processes and execution strategies.
Prior experience in civil construction projects is preferred.
Fluency in English is an advantage.
Ability to work efficiently within short timeframes and demonstrate strong time management skills.
Willingness to learn new things and contribute actively and positively to the team with a proactive attitude.
