Duties and Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with the Engineering Lead from the Study Engineering team to ensure consistency, coordination, and quality in engineering activities throughout all project phases.
• Support the Engineering Lead and Project team in the engineering design and review processes for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
• Coordinate with internal and external design teams, consultants, and discipline engineers to deliver integrated, constructible, and fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Prepare and review technical specifications, engineering drawings, scope documents, and calculations in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Serve as the project technical liaison between engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) teams to ensure seamless integration of design and execution.
• Manage and track Technical Queries (TQs) and Field Engineering Queries (FEQs), ensuring timely and effective resolution in collaboration with engineering and construction teams.
• Support procurement activities by reviewing vendor documentation, data sheets, and participating in technical bid evaluations.
• Provide technical input during construction planning, including sequencing, construction methodology, and constructability assessments.
• Monitor engineering deliverables and progress, manage design-related changes, and ensure timely achievement of engineering milestones.
• Ensure all engineering outputs comply with relevant codes, standards, regulations, and specific project requirements.
• Contribute to commissioning and project handover by verifying technical aspects, supporting the resolution of issues, and ensuring accurate as-built documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers, promoting knowledge transfer and fostering professional development within the engineering team
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of engineering design standards, construction methods, and project life cycle phases.
• Proficiency in engineering software and digital collaboration tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Revit, etc.).
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, HSE requirements, and industry best practices.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of engineering experience in construction, mining, or infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience in engineering coordination, design review, and construction support.
• Experience with multidisciplinary projects and stakeholder engagement across functions.
