We are hiring a Procurement Analyst.
Duties and responsibilities
• Maintains the RT and company culture, follows the company's Vision, Mission, Values, and Strategic focus and ensures company's goals and missions at all levels;
• Creates value to the company via Procurement end to end activities with business integrity and follows the Way We Work in every actions and decisions to make;
• Coordinates with end users and business community in developing the scope of work for projects assigned, if required;
• Manages category management, sourcing and contract management activities in line with company's relevant processes;
• Takes the complete ownership of its category and being responsible for the security of supply for the goods/ service to deliver value to meet company's business objectives;
• Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain quality databases on the sources and drivers of value creation;
• Handles contract management (eg: contract execution, implementation, supplier reviews, supplier performance management etc.) with direction from his/her direct leader and Manager for assigned contracts or arising from sourcing projects previously executed;
• Sources, selects and negotiates on the best deal in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers.
Professional background
Undergraduate or equivalent or higher education obtained through degrees or diplomas from academic college or universities.
Qualification
Business or relevant social science discipline
Experience
At least 3 years relevant experience, or otherwise the significant practical experience and on the job training.
General skills
• Able to communicate by using words and phrases in English;
• Able to read and write short paragraphs on topics relevant to the work or experience in english language.
• Able to use and create variety of documents and templates and effectively perform daily Word, Excel and PowerPoint processing tasks, such as, producing routine letters, memorandums, tracking sheet, preparing meeting agenda, session presentation, etc.
• Identify insights and suggest optimal procurement opportunities from a range of alternatives;
• Solve innovative procurement problems that lack clear precedent, utilising domain knowledge and a systematic analytical approach.
Contract term: 5 months
