We are hiring a Senior Advisor for Contracts & Reporting
Duties and responsibilities
"Learn and utilize the mandated contract management system (Omnicom) in a disciplined manner and become the subject matter expert of Omnicom contract management system
Prepare and conduct training sessions for all Omnicom users, in particular for new starters
Prepare all reports (weekly, fortnightly, monthly, and quarterly) reports required for the P&C function. Reports come from a number of sources and therefore must be able to develop reports in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and PowerPoint.
Take full accountability for the procurement and contract administration of packages (professional services, supply, and manufacture) and demonstrate commercial acumen
Interface with technical End Users to identify scope, and agree on an appropriate procurement strategy including clear timeframes/milestones.
Hold multiple stakeholder parties accountable for deliverables and participation during the procurement process.
Perform all contract administration duties for assigned packages (progress claims and invoicing, assessment of time/cost variation claims, foresee potential commercial risks or non-conformance with the contract terms and closeouts)
Ensure all procurement and contract administration activities are performed in accordance with the strict project governance frameworks
Fostering and operating in a diverse team and actively sharing experience across the greater Project teams.
Escalate issues to Manager or Superintendent with a 'solutions-based approach
Provide coverage for other team members who are on rostered leave. This includes taking full accountability for team members' tasks for a short period of time while maintaining own workload
Professional background
Undergraduate or equivalent or higher education obtained through degrees or diplomas from academic colleges or universities.
Experience
3-5 + years of procurement, contract administration, and project environment experience
Qualification
Business and Commerce degree, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Contract Management, Project Management, Information Technology
Able to understand and communicate academic and qualification-relevant content in more cognitively complex ways;
Able to write with increasing length, complexity, and abstraction using academic and professional vocabulary and consistent grammatical structures. "
