We are hiring a Coordinator Construction

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Coordinate the construction management activity including leading and organizing all required project meetings from construction start to commissioning.
  • Construction superintendent shall assign construction coordinator to be in charge of coordinating contractors in implementation of project
  • Scope of work documents including IFC design drawing
  • HSE management plan for the project
  • Risk assessment of the project
  • Check standard safety meetings preparation including pre-start meeting, etc.,
  • Check contractors’ temporary facilities and start Temporary Occupied Building Permitting process
  • Construction coordinator shall involve in squad check procedures for engineering drawings review all stages of design and provide own comments and instructions
  • Construction coordinator shall monitor the Contractor’s permit to work procedures and review the relevant documents including BAC testing, JHA, permits to work, etc.,
  • During construction work, construction coordinator shall coordinate with Contractor and follow the implementing actions raised from other teams regarding the construction work Safety inspections, Critical Risk Managements actions.
  • Approved action raised from investigation to be registered in RT HSE incident system and implementation of the action to be following by Construction coordinator and closed. 
  • Construction coordinator to involve in scope of work of the projects to support project lead in the preparation of bidding documents and advice on construction methodology and construction schedules of the projects.
  • Construction coordinator to involve in creating the construction baseline schedule with all relevant parties including scheduler, contractor and project lead. Approved schedule shall be uploaded in the construction folder. During the construction work, construction coordinator shall update the schedule completion together with scheduler.

 

Professional background

Undergraduate or equivalent or higher education obtained through degrees or diplomas from academic college or universities.

 

Experience

At least 3 years relevant experience, or otherwise significant practical experience and on-the-job training.

 

Qualification

Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline is preferable.
